Two weeks ago, I chose to sit Peyton Manning in favor of Jason Campbell, as Manning was struggling and Campbell had a nice matchup. Manning went off against the Ravens, and even though I won, the decision to sit my stud QB backfired.
Now I find myself in the exact same situation. Manning laid an egg again last week, and Campbell has a juicy matchup against the Lions. Manning faces a VERY tough Titans defense, yet, I have a gut feeling he'll play well. Also, I could see the Redskins getting up big in this game and running the ball (good for me as a Portis owner), giving Campbell one of those respectable, but not great, 20-25 point games. I'll probably go back and forth on this decision right up until game time.

not that this should sway your decision, but ESPN does project 20 more points out of campbell. and looked how my 3 texans did against the lions last week - very nice.
Like I said in the post, I'm just worried WAS will literally run away with it and not give Campbell many opportunities.
Tennessee's D has looked good, but they also have played Cincy, Minny, Baltimore, and KC; those are four teams that will make your defense look like a bunch of pro-bowlers. Besides, the last time we all doubted Peyton, he blew up.
classic catch 22. manning will probabl throw more than campbell. but not sure if that equals success. TENN def has only let in an average of 11 points a game. Indy would need to double that for manning to have a stand out game. Like I said, the texans had a nice round fantasy game last week. I know that lions scored a few to keep it close, which they probably wont do against the 'skins, but I might be apt to think that 1/2 game for campbell might eran more than a whole game of peyton. like last week.
I've been thinking that it's pretty much me versus Adam at this point, because we're in the hunt for that final playoff spot and he's only 9.5 points behind me. When I'm in doubt about a starter, I'm considering playing the players that have the most upside, the most potential for a big game, and I think that's Peyton at this point.
